I'm surprised no one here mentioned it. Cincinnati was picked over 59 other cities for the Beer Hall of Fame. Organizers are targeting Tower Place for the complex which celebrates beer.

I raise a skeptical eye toward this project. I don't know the resources of the parties involved, but this looks to be a big ticket project with substantial risk.
It is also my understanding - based on a quick Google search - that at least two of the finalists bowed out (Portland and Chicago) because of the requirements of the application. Apparently the Beer Drinking Team wants a building handed to them, which is one reason why Covington didn't make the cut.
